Welcome to our new members...

Because we realise that getting started with a new website often presents many different challenges, we wanted to take this opportunity to help you with the basic set-up of your new account.

Publishing your Site

The first, and probably most important, of all the steps is to get your web site published to the Internet. Because there are many programs that will allow you to upload your site, we have taken the time to give you actual screen shots of many of the most popular tools for uploading your page, based on what our current customers are using.

NOTE: When you upload your site to the Internet, you will want to make sure that you name your main page index.html, this is how our system will recognise your page. Also, make sure that you are uploading your site into the appropriate folder as stipulated in your "Welcome Email".

If you are hosting on one of our Windows hosting plans then the main page of your web site can be called any of the following:
default.htm, default.asp, index.html, index.htm, index.asp or index.,cfm

Setting Up Your E-mail Accounts

While there are a large number of e-mail clients available for you to use, we have screen shots for a few of the more popular programs for your assistance. Please click on the link below for the e-mail client that you are using. You will need the username and password for the e-mail account that you just set-up, as well as the outgoing mail server (smtp server) provided by your ISP so that you will be able to send e-mail messages.

Please note that customers are provided with additional set-up details on the "Welcome Email" that we send out after an account has been started.
